All mandatory safety signs shown comply with BS-5499-1, BS 5499-5 and The Health & Safety (Safety Signs & Signals) Regulations.

BS 5499 Safety signs Part 1: Specification states that mandatory safety signs should have the following characteristics: Circle, Mandatory action, Safety colour blue, Contrast colour White, Graphical symbol colour White.
